My wife and I have lived off-the-grid for over 21 years now. We heat with wood from our own property, most of our power comes from SOLAR and WIND....Talk about GREEN!! More folks should try it!! It really isn't that difficult, people.....

We play music with our friends for enjoyment, Including some annual events in the area. I am the Producer/Promoter of the Mountain Music Festival, which happens on the 1st Saturday of August each year. This event showcases our local talent, with the emphasis on the kids in our area. At times we even get someone from out-of-town on the stage...
Our band (Half-way There) has been playing at the event since it began in 2000, with the multi-talented Connie Fletcher at the helm...
