Original Flushing, NETHERLANDS

Well, it was boring this time. To much time (six hours) and lesser action and helocopters. We cut it short to go and sit on a terrace with some lemonade (it was hot).

Again on the seaside Boulevard it is Rescue. A demonstration from people and there machines that rescue persons and ships on the sea. Lots of helicopters, airoplanes, fast boats.... It attracks a lot of onlookers from over the whole country. A real specticle. We go to look at the diversity of people. We are The Observers!!!

This Friday evening it is, in our coastal city of Original Flushing, the start of the Boulevard on the sea night market. It's from eight o clock in the evening till one o clock at night. Rounded off by a firework display at half past the hour of midnight. It will by very crowded due to the tourist that come from everywhere around, staying on camping and in hotel.  The boulevard is about two kilometres long. It shall be a tiring event.

It seems that a human being is busy it's whole life to keep it's body warm or cold. This time it is cold. Pff.

It's to our special knowledge of having seen so much films in our lives, that we say that it's not true that 'the dark knight 2008' stands  number 15 of the 500 best films of all times. And the new violent one with all the murders in Aurora can't be good too.

Last week my camera died, wouldn't take sharp pictures anymore, just blurred ones. Threw it away. So in the direct future no pictures to be taken, until I have some money to buy a new camera. This weekend the senseo coffee pad machine died too. Wouldn't give enough coffee and it made a terrible noise. We bought a new one, but have to eat bread for four days. I'm curious what will break down in the coming days. It can stop already.

The fair has come to our coastal town, some of them are still building, others will come and build up during the night. Because tomorrow, Friday at 6 pm it will open. Hoping that the rain but also the heat is staying away.

Amusement parks in Belgium and Holland are complaining that weather reports on television are laying to much  emphasis on the negative features of weather, like rain and gloomy expectancy in days to come.
The anchor man has to use more the words temporarily rain showers and in stead of bright interval the word sun. They are losing too much revenues. Funny Bunny's. It's all about the money, Wilma would say.

It is July already and we are still waiting for a decent summer. You don't hear us complain, cause nature does what it does best, just be. There were some rather hot days and some serious cold days and now we are waiting also on the heat wave around the west coast of America. Come on over to our side in Europe, surely we can have you. Sitting ready with our folded fans.
