We are back from the show with Scotti's 8 Winner Ribbons. Thank you to all judges and club members at the Lucky TomCat Show in St. Louis, MO on January 10-11, 2009. You guys are great! Next weekend we head to Birmingham, AL for Grand Champion points (we hope.) In case you are wondering how the kittens are housed, they are in two folding canvas play pens. As they become larger and more mobile they will venture into another area and I will widen the view to include both areas. Everyone is walking around on their own now. Some are a little more wobbly than others. Their weights are coming along now as well. Kitten #3 (the runt) will need to catch up at some point. We are still doing some supplemental feedings since Mom has started weening. They have all cut their milk teeth and we don't think Rio will appreciate too much teething on her teets. It will be important now to make sure we introduce softened food several times each day. I hope you are enjoying the kitten development as much as I am. Come visit my site for more information about my cats. A link is provided in the blue section below. Your support through a financial donation using PayPal is appreciated. We don't overextend ourselves and run the cattery using our own earnings. We would use any donations to keep our webcam live and probably upgrade some hardware, like a new higher resolution web cam. Of course donations toward cat show entries, travel, and kitten raising are also very much appreciated. Thank you for visiting us and come back soon. |
