This is a D-Link DCS-G900 wireless camera positioned in a basement window with a view of the Wasatch mountains.  I'm using DynDNS for the service that enables the ability to watch the view from http://mountainvalleycam.homeip.net even when my ISP (QWEST DSL) occassionally changes the IP Address.

Behind the fence are the tracks of the HVRR .... the Heber Valley Railroad.  If you watch long enough you will see the train go by.  But, you should first check out their schedule http://www.hebervalleyrr.org/cal/index.php to find out when the train runs.  The camera is positioned at a point that is about 5 minutes from the station

This is a trial camera that is to be replaced with a pan/tilt camera placed under the roof eave.  That new camera is now being tested.  The plan is to preset the camera and have it change position every 30 minutes.  It will move from a view of the Timpanogos SW, to Deer Creek Reservoir and Soldier Hollow to the W, over to Midway and Memorial Hill to the NW, then to the crest of HWY 40 at the Jordenelle Dam to the N.
