Welcome to Barking WebCam. This cam is located in one of the tower blocks on the Gascoigne estate in the London Borough of Barking & Dagenham and looks westerly over east London. Keep your eyes open for urban foxes at night, the occasional drunken brawl and the mystery creature I spotted a while back.

It was suggested that I allowed limited camera control and that seems a sensible suggestion, so camera control has now resumed. I'm sorry that it won't include sunsets, but when I am able I have been pointing the cam in that direction manually and will continue to do so. Many thanks to Bob for the suggestion.

It appears that users of Internet Explorer 9 are having issues with
Flash and are unable to view cams at EarthCam. This is something that neither EarthCam or EarthCam users are able to fix.
